GET IT OFF YOUR CHEST AND LIVE LONGER

EXPRESSING YOUR ANGER (in a positive way) can help you to live longer, according to recent research.

An American study of 192 married couples over a 17- period discovered that those who were consistently resentful died in earlier than those who felt free to express their emotions.

For couple where both people suppressed their anger, death rates were high: in 23% of such cases both partners died during the study period. That compares with double deaths in just 6% of couples who freely expressed their emotions.

Interestingly, the couples who lived the longest were those where the man expressed his anger and the wife held hers in.
