Tasty Taco Salad...


12 oz lean ground beef

2 cups tortilla chips

1/2 cup salsa

1 cup shredded lettuce

1cup grated cheddar cheese

1/4 cup sour cream

1 small tomato, diced

1/2 tsp oregano

  • Cook ground beef in a skillet on medium heat for about 10 minutes until meat is no longer pink. Stir in frequently to break up the meat. Remove from heat and drain fat.
  • Stir salsa and oregano into the meat and cover. Cook on medium heat for another 5 minutes, stirring once or twice.
  • Divide up tortilla chips onto serving plates or bowls. Scoop the meat mixture over top, and then add cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and extra salsa.
  • Serve with raw veggies for munching.
